Welcome to the freeform portion of this site. I’m hoping it will be equal parts blog, sharing space and record of those things that didn’t quite make the cut.

Unlike the title may suggest, nothing here is here because it was unwanted. Sometimes these are pieces that were too long or too off beat for my editors. Sometimes they might be writing that completely outside of my normal work, like food reviews or even fiction.

I write a lot of content that I couldn’t have published in other places, and so I thought I would share some of it here. There is also no substitute for getting the chance to read someone’s original work without the influence of an editor. I hope it goes well for me.
